Wimberley Lavender Farm is situated on a beautiful hilltop midway between Blanco and Wimberley on FM 2325. For this year's Festival, we are thrilled to be hosting a special event. Heart of Texas Farms will be at the farm, featuring pet-able baby Nubian and Nigerian Fainting Goats, and a lavender bejewelled pony for photo opportunities. They will also talk about making goat cheese products and will have locally made goat cheese for sale or for sampling. Karen and O'Neil Provost have over a thousand mature Provence and Grosso lavender plants and have planted several new varieties as well. Indulge yourself in a chair massage while the scent of lavender emanates from the nearby fields, sip refreshing lavender lemonade, sit on a swing and look over an amazing view, or visit with their gentle longhorn cows - it's a great break from the city and the Provosts look forward to seeing you.
